THE COMPANY
In COLORFOTO, we strive to continue the history.
COLORFOTO was born in 1983, founded by the brothers Carlos Silva and José Manuel Silva.
The first store opens in the Areeiro Mall (now gone), a space wich dimensions did not exceed the 12m ², and despite the limited space quickly became a place as a must for professionals. The destiny was traced.
In 1988, COLORFOTO moved to Alvalade and occupies a bigger and more modern space.
The professional aspect becomes stronger and the range of customers and demand for specialty items increases, making the company to use direct imports of articles that have been non-existent in our country.
In 1990, the store opens COLORFOTO Visconde Santarém, with over 200m², at the time was regarded as disproportionate to the branch, but the space was took superior advantage of it, and directed especially for professional customers.
In November 2005, COLORFOTO live the joy of completing the opening of its store in Oporto, but that same month, lives the greatest sorrow of all his history, our Carlos Silva dies at age 51, victim of disease. Irreparable loss for the entire community of photography in Portugal and felt to this day.
COLORFOTO currently has 3 stores: 2 in Lisbon Alvalade and Visconde Santarém and 1 in Oporto Rua Sá da Bandeira, 26 employees are operating the company.
COLORFOTO is still an active participant of one of the leading importers and distributors of photographic equipment in our country.

Planning and installation of studios,
It is possible to use our services for the installation of your photo studio. We will provide a full budget, encompassing design of lighting and equipment for making digital/analog views.
Technical assistance
Our repair contractors work in collaboration with the brands represented, ensuring as far as possible an effective after-sales service.
